Act now to avoid facing increased costs for your water supply
Since April 2017, businesses, charities and public sector organisations in England have been able to choose their water supplier in order to drive improved service and lower prices – just as you do with your gas and electricity.
If you haven’t exercised your right to switch you will have been automatically placed in a ‘deemed contract’ with your existing supplier, or associated water retailer. Ofwat introduced tariff caps to protect those consumers who did not wish to engage in the water market. But those caps are due to be lifted from 1 April 2020, which means that businesses that have not actively switched supplier could face increases of as much as 10% for their water supply.
Power Direct Ltd has partnered with Source for Business to offer a better retail price for your water, facilitated through a buying group. Our water buying group enables participants to leverage the economies of scale that being part of a buying group offers, with a three-year fixed contract that offers budget certainty.
Energy and water all managed in one place
Many businesses are already aware of the benefits that can be gained from group buying. Power Direct Ltd has been successfully facilitating energy buying groups for a number of years, and participants have gained from the buying power offered.
