Businesses in the East of England are now able to apply for between £25,000 to £75,000 of investment in the second funding round of the University of East Anglia’s (UEA) Low Carbon Innovation Fund (LCIF).

The LCIF gives small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) the opportunity to reduce their carbon usage and emissions, either through the products and services they sell or as a result of their own operations. Businesses can secure between £25,000 and £75,000 in return for a stake in their firm, with the LCIF able to invest up to 50% of the amount a company is seeking.

Companies will also receive support in developing their business plans, reducing their carbon footprint and maximising their energy savings.
