Technology giant Phillips has announced targets for its operations to be carbon neutral and powered by 100% renewable electricity.

Launched on 20 June, the company’s five-year sustainability programme is intended to support United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals, with Philips having been recognised as a world leader for corporate action on climate change. Other targets will be for 70% of turnover to come from green revenues and 15% from circular revenues.

Phillips CEO Frans van Houte said: “We have set ambitious targets for our innovations, products, solutions, operations and the business partners we work with, to meet those objectives.”
